PREAMBLE
The Raid VTT e-bike SCOTT les Chemins du Soleil is organized every year by the association Raid VTT, Association law 1901 registered with the INSEE with the SIRET 503 707 614 00015, whose head office is at Mairie, 26620 Lus the Croix Haute France.
This document defines:
- the general regulations of the event,
- the general sales conditions applicable to any order for bibs and / or options offered by the organizer to participate in the event.
Consequently, for the sale of products or services relating to the event, a sales contract is formed only between you and the Organizer. The Organizer is responsible for the sales of products or services relating to the event, claims or any other problem arising or related to the sales contract between you and the Organizer. GENERAL RULES OF THE EVENT
1. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The event is open to everyone, licensed and unlicensed, and exclusively to non-unbridled electric mountain bikes, engine power less than 250 watts and assistance which cuts out at 25km / h maximum. The assistance should only be provided if the cyclist pedals and stops when pedaling.
The provision of a medical certificate or a license is not compulsory as the event is not timed.
The raid is not accessible to minors
It is highly recommended that you take out personal accident insurance covering bodily injury and property damage. See 6 of the GTC below
2. THE EVENTS
The raid MTB e-bike is individual and without timing or classification. The event is divided into 3 stages from Friday morning to Sunday.
3. THE COURSE
3.1 PRINCIPLE:
The route breaks down into 2 days with 2 to 3 routes per day, depending on your physical and technical level and whether you have spare batteries.
Time gates may be imposed by the organizer depending on the length and difficulty of a stage. An alternative route will then be offered to participants to reach the finish line
The stages are generally long and committed. This event is mainly aimed at trained practitioners and accustomed to steep mountain terrain.

3.2 Route:
The routes are not marked. The organization gives you the GPS tracks of the routes in advance, the use of GPS is therefore compulsory.
For the safety of all participants, you must respect the ROAD CODE throughout the event as well as the specific instructions recalled at the briefing by the race director, volunteers and representatives of the order along the route. journey. Staff will be present at certain intersections of roads deemed dangerous, but it is not possible to have people at all intersection points. We remind you that the entire route is open to traffic and other modes of travel.
The route may be changed at any time if the organization judges that certain conditions are hindering the initial route. For example, after strong bad weather resulting in a landslide, snow on the high passes ....
Any modification will be indicated on the website or during a briefing if the fact occurs during the race.
3.3 START STAGE:
Access to the starting line before each stage must be done in accordance with the times communicated during the briefings.
Each participant must pass through the start line, symbolized by the arch and the line on the ground. In the event of a forfeit, the runner has the obligation to come and inform the organization.
A closing mountain bike team will start 15 minutes after the official start time of the Rando RAID, to ensure the closure and safety of the day's stage.
3.4 ARRIVAL STAGE:
Participants must pass through the finish line.
4. COURSE OF THE EVENT
4.1 PRINCIPLE:
The SCOTT les Chemins du Soleil e-bike MTB Raid is a loop event, with the same base camp for the 2 days

1 refueling per day with the possibility of having the organization drop off your spare battery already charged (not compulsory).
Participants will need to bring their personal battery charger. To be charged by the organization, the batteries must be removed from their location if they are integrated into the frame of the mountain bike. The organizer will provide labels to identify the batteries on the charging space set up by the organizer.
4.2 WITHDRAWALS:
Except in the event of injury, if a participant wishes to quit he must, as far as possible, quit at a signaling checkpoint along the course. He must then come forward to the person in charge of the post, who writes down his bib and informs the race director.

In case of abandonment on the course following an accident and an evacuation to a hospital, take care of yourself, the emergency services will have informed us of the situation. We will contact you to inquire about you and organize the recovery of your personal effects.
Any abandonment on the course must imperatively be declared to the organization, either by going to the finish line or by sending an SMS to the number communicated by the organization. The State will invoice the costs of rescue and search if you have not declared your abandonment and that help is launched.
5. COMPULSORY EQUIPMENT

You will be told at each briefing whether you can dispense with certain elements depending on the forecast weather conditions.
All participants must also wear the equipment provided by the organization: mountain bike plate, bracelets.
The competitors are semi-autonomous on each stage. 2 to 3 refreshments are planned per section. Plan food according to your needs and take the necessary water to hold between two supplies.
6. LOGISTICS AND SERVICES
6.1 FERMES MTB PARK
The organization will provide a closed and supervised mountain bike park at each stage. Access to the park is strictly reserved for participants of the Mountain Bike Raid, provided with the unique and inviolable bracelet. The number of the bracelet must correspond to the number of the frame plate in order to be able to enter and leave the park. An anti-theft device is mandatory to drop off your ATV in the park.
All entry and exit is final. Repair or maintenance in the ATV park is strictly prohibited. The opening and closing times of the park are communicated in the official program of the raid.
6.2 RESTORATION
There is no lunch on the stages. The supplies are suitable for mountain biking on long stages.
Evening meals and breakfasts are provided by a caterer. The start and end times of service are communicated on the official program of the raid.
Meal during your stay on the raid: Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday noon.
Breakfast for your stay on the raid: Saturday morning, Sunday morning
The short circuit and organic products are favored by our caterer. However, only one menu per day is on the program. We cannot take into account individual dietary constraints and specific diets. We advise these people to plan ahead to complement the meals we offer.
6.3 MECHANICS
A mountain bike wash is available on each stage finish. Mechanical assistance is provided by a partner. If you need spare parts, you will find a mechanical service for the repair or adjustment of your bike. Prices are available directly from the mechanical stand. This assistance is limited to so-called standard parts and needs. In the event of unavailability of a component necessary for the repair of your ATV, the partner may, within the limits of its capacities, offer you an ATV rental to complete the raid.
6.4 BIVOUAC
By bivouac, we mean the provision of a pitch on a campsite or on land suitable for a tent only.
Vehicles, caravans, camper vans are not allowed on the bivouac sites. Parking spaces outside the bivouac will be indicated in the smartphone application .. www.mobile.raid-vtt.fr of the Raid VTT. This arrangement is made to accommodate the tents of all the competitors. Otherwise, it is impossible to place all the competitors
Sanitary facilities and showers will of course be available at the bivouacs.
6.5 SAFETY
The organization has a back-up system validated by the prefecture. It is made up of mobile doctors in the race and on the stage villages, fire and rescue services (SDIS).
In the event of a problem, it is imperative to notify the organization as quickly as possible via the telephone number which will be communicated to you at the briefing and in the raid mountain bike smartphone application, or to get closer to a member of the staff who has a radio, or dial 112 directly from your mobile, when urgently required.
On medical advice, the organization reserves the right to disqualify and remove from the course any person it deems unfit to continue the race. Any participant calling on a doctor or first-aid worker submits to his authority and agrees to fully accept his decisions. If necessary, and in the interest of the person rescued, the rescue teams are called upon to take charge of operations and use all appropriate means, including helicopters.
Anyone who has undergone a medical or surgical intervention must inform the organization. In the absence of this declaration, the organization cannot be held responsible in the event of a major incident.
TERMS OF SALES
1. REGISTRATIONS
Any commitment implies acceptance of the GENERAL RULES and GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE.
The general regulations may be supplemented during pre-race briefings in the event of exceptional and unforeseen events. The competitors undertake by signing these regulations to respect the rules of sports ethics, in particular with regard to the French law on the fight against doping, the rules of life in the bivouac areas, the respect of a practice of mountain biking. environmentally friendly. Any proven act of incivility will be immediately sanctioned by exclusion from the event. The participant involved will then be forced to leave the race and organize their logistics to leave the event and return to their home.
2 REGISTRATION PROCESS
Registration for the events of the event is done exclusively on the registration platform used by the organizer. Payment is made online at the time of validation of your registration. Access to the registration platform is indicated by a clickable button from www.raid-vtt.fr .
Only online registrations will be accepted. Registrations by email, payment by bank transfer or check will be refused.
Anyone who reserves for one or more other person (s) is jointly responsible for the payment of the full amount of the registration.
The opening dates for registration will be communicated on www.raid-vtt.fr , by newsletter to subscribers, and on our social networks.

All commitments are personal, firm and final. No transfer of registration to a third person or postponement to a later date is authorized for any reason whatsoever.
4 WITHDRAWAL
You do not have the conventional withdrawal period. Purchases of leisure services provided on a specific date are exempt: “Leisure services” are understood to mean the purchase of a race number, accommodation, a meal ticket, etc. You do not benefit from the right of withdrawal on the purchase of leisure services which must be provided on a date or at a determined periodicity, in accordance with the legal provisions of Article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code.
5. RESPONSIBILITY
Anyone returning their bib to a third party will be held responsible in the event of an accident occurring or caused by the latter during the event. The organization declines all responsibility in the event of an accident in this type of situation and reserves the right to definitively exclude the competitor from the raid upon discovery of the facts.
6. INSURANCE
In accordance with the legislation in force, the Organizer has taken out insurance covering the pecuniary consequences of its civil liability, that of its employees and of all participants in the event. With regard to the civil liability of the participants, the intervention of this insurance for them is limited to the accidents which they could cause during the course of the Event.
It is strongly recommended that you take out “Individual accident” insurance or check that your insurance policy includes this guarantee. This point is very important. We are insured against any fault on our part. If you fall and get injured without our liability being called into question; it is your individual accident insurance that works, hence the importance of checking that you are covered for mountain biking and to know the amount of guarantees and benefits covered guaranteeing the payment of a capital in the event of bodily injury (death or permanent disability) due to an accident occurring during the event. Our organization does not cover compensation for bodily injury and property damage of participants.
7. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
7.1 RESPONSIBILITY - FORCE MAJEURE
The Organizer undertakes to describe with the greatest accuracy the services and products offered on www.raid-vtt.fr. The Organizer cannot be held liable in the event that the non-performance of its obligations is attributable either to the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract, or to a case of force majeure as defined by article 1218. of the Civil Code and by French case law. In this case the reimbursement of participants cannot be exercised.
7.2 CANCELLATION BY THE PARTICIPANT.
We remind you that all commitments are personal, firm and final, and cannot be reimbursed for any reason whatsoever without cancellation insurance and that no transfer of registration is authorized for any reason whatsoever.
We strongly invite participants to take out individual cancellation insurance with an insurer and check the conditions and reasons for cancellation such as, for example, illness or hospitalization, death of a loved one, pressing family reasons, refusal of employer leave, covid19, etc.
The online registration platform offers the option of subscribing to Mutuaide BeTicketing cancellation insurance when paying online. Like any individual insurance, this only concerns the participant to the exclusion of the cancellation of all or part of the event. In this case, refer to article 10 of these regulations.

ATV RAID does not handle your cancellation if you are insured. From your personal Kjuko space, click on declare a claim to request a cancellation and reimbursement from the insurer.
7.3 CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANIZER
The organizer will reimburse, on the basis of the prices in force at the time of payment, the full amount of the registration (excluding registration banking transaction fees relating to the online registration platform) if the race should be canceled. of his follows a fault on his part.
In the event of cancellation imposed by a competent authority for health reasons (generally the State), the organization offers 2 options:

- Or a postponement of the registration to the next edition. This credit, therefore valid for 12 months, is non-refundable if the participant is unable to attend the next year's edition.
The organizer will contact the participant within 15 days following the cancellation of the event to inform him of the reimbursement request procedure to be followed. The refund will then be made within 30 days of receipt of the required information. Beyond 30 days after the official publication date of the event cancellation, any refund request will be null and void.
8. IMAGE RIGHTS
By participating in the event, the competitors authorize the organizer and his beneficiaries to use and reproduce his name, his image and his voice within the framework of the Raid VTT e-bike SCOTT les Chemins du Soleil, with a view to exploitation. on communication and promotion media. And this all over the world and by all means known to date.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. Through us, you may be required to receive proposals from other companies or associations. If you do not wish it, just write to us indicating your names, first names, addresses.
Registration for the event necessarily implies for the competitor to receive electronic newsletters concerning technical and informative elements related to the event.
9. DISPUTES AND COMPLAINTS

During the event the referent is the clerk of the course.
Any complaint received 2 days after the end of the raid will be considered null and void.
